Advice for Road Runners: The Mizuno Men's Wave Skyrise 6 Running Shoes should feel soft and relatively plush under your feet. As a result, we recommend using the Wave Skyrise 6 Running Shoes for slower-paced runs and daily miles.

Underfoot Feel

In contrast to the previous model, the midsole now features a top layer of Mizuno Enerzy Nxt cushioning. This nitrogen-infused foam should offer great energy return.

The bottom layer of cushioning in the Mizuno Wave Skyrise 6 Running Shoes is Mizuno Enerzy foam. This ensures the heel section feels both soft and stable.

Upper Fit

The Mizuno Wave Skyrise 6 Running Shoes feature a smooth stretch woven material - which is likely to reduce the chances of friction.

Extra ventilation in the vamp area (top of the toe box) improves breathability. The tapered back heel collar makes it easier to slip your foot in.

Ideal Run Type

The soft and forgiving nature of the cushioning in the Mizuno Men's Wave Skyrise 6 Running Shoes means we recommend using this model for easy runs.

It's worth noting the energetic Mizuno Enerzy Nxt foam should help you maintain your pace, and could lower your perception of effort.

Sizing Advice

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
